What is beauty?

Beauty to me is a combination of natural elements, color, shape and form that pleases the eye. Beauty is an opinion which is different for each and every different person. 

Commercial vs. Artistic

Artistic: I chose this as my artistic portrait because it is not a traditional pose or background for a commercial photograph. I like how porcelain her face looks but also the contrast of her bright blue nails and blue eyes with the natural landscape as the background. 

Magazine: I think that this picture in this magazine cover is commercial because the child in the portrait is very put together and posed. The toddlers outfit seems well planned out and almost unrealistic with the bow tie and lollipop. When I took this photo, I told him how to pose versus the artistic, I was just taking pictures as she moved, was relaxed and with no direction.
